Job Description

We are looking to employ a skilled HR Associate who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures amongst other functions. The HR. Associate is expected to be knowledgeable on employment legislation and possess strategic and commercial insight to the labour process. He or she must be able to negotiate with diplomacy. He or she will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the HR department
  • Support the development and implementation of fair HR initiatives and systems.
  • Cover all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Perform administrative tasks.
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations).
  • Ensure meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Review and oversee procedures for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
  • Oversee recruitment process which include; preparing job descriptions, posting ads and manage the hiring process.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the organisation.

Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, (especially Excel), Google Docs. and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. 4

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently 5
Education & Experience

Academic Qualification (s)

BSc/BA in human resources, business or relevant field. MSc. ACIPM or other HR certification is an added advantage.

Years of Experience

Minimum of two years proven experience in human resource field.
